January Transfer Guide

It seems like from the close of the transfer window, Premier League fans hold their breath for January.  This winter could be a busy one especially since the big pocket books of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea may be open for business.  Tottenham looks like they may also join the fray and spend more of the Bale money they acquired this summer.  With the two French powers of PSG and Monaco also looking to make moves, there could be some major upheaval this year.  Whichever way you cut it, this is an exciting time!  Simply click the logo of your club to see Six Beers Deep predictions for this winters transactions.  (If you don’t see your squad don’t worry, we are either working on them now are they aren’t important enough to cover)

ArsenalARSENAL look to add to their striking force this January.  There are options both at home and abroad for the Gunners but our solution may surprise you.

Cardiff City has experienced an incredible amount of upheaval this year.  The former Championship Champion has some work to do in January but will they?

chelseaCHELSEA have had a mixed bag of results so far this season.  Don’t fret though Chelsea fans, there are many big name options that could solve your problems.  Some big names may be leaving the Bridge come January though.

Everton has done particularly well against top opponents this season.  The quality they possess in their top 11 means they can compete with the big boys.  What could they lose this winter though?

Liverpool has a lot of work to do despite finding themselves in the top 4.  With injuries to Sturridge and Gerrard the Reds will have to make some moves next month.

manchester-cityManchester City has been scoring goals like crazy this year and look to be tough to stop.  However, their play at the back could be their undoing.  With the funds available at the Etihad, there could be some answers come this winter.
manchester-united-logoMANCHESTER UNITED has arguably had the most disappointing run of things so far.  Their salvation may not take place until at least next summer but there is still hope for January!

Newcastle

NEWCASTLE UNITED has some work to do this winter.  They have proved their medal against some of the top sides so far, but have also floundered against lower competition.  Without the money of some of the other bigger clubs the Magpies must get a little more creative.

swansea_city

SWANSEA CITY could struggle to hold the team they’ve built the last few years together.  The biggest departure from the squad may be Spanish Striker Michu.  The money the Swans make though could be worth the transfer.

Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have some work to do this upcoming January.  They have sacked boss AVB and seem unable to score goals from open play.  There is hope for Spurs in the upcoming month though.
